The Cave de Fleurie is the combination of a land, made up of hardy yet bounteous hillsides, and people of similar character. The land gives the Gamay grape everything it needs to thrive; while the wine growers bring out the best of this unique grape variety, with their nimble, expert hands. A VARIETY
OF TERROIRS

Although the Cave de Fleurie also produces white wines from the Chardonnay, our favourite grape is, of course, the Gamay. This demanding varietal finds itself at home here, in our diverse soils, rich in schist, granite and volcanic rock, on the sunny hillsides from which it draws its daily nourishment. « Les Garants », « La Madone », « La Chapelle des Bois », « Les Moriers », « Montgenas »… are some of the lieux-dit or climats (i.e. specific vineyard areas) where we grow the grapes for our subtle, nuanced wines.

OUR WINES

The Cave de Fleurie growers are deeply committed to respecting the traditions and methods passed on over the generations, from the cultivation of the vine to the bottling of the wine. The skill and experience of these men and women ensure that our wines are of flawless quality: mineral, fruity; soft and fresh; upfront and silky; and sometimes intense.
